Where a user processes a receipt in byondpro and selects an earlier date than the current date, for example on 21-Oct-2021, a receipt is processed as at 18-Oct-2021 to reflect when funds were actually received.
Prior to Version 6, the Sage 300 AR Receipts batch would process with:
Batch Date: 21-Oct-2021
Deposit Date: 21-Oct-2021
Receipt Date: 18-Oct-2021
Posting Date: 18-Oct-2021
Now the following dates will reflect the actual receipt date of 18-Oct-2021.
Batch Date
Deposit Date
Receipt Date
Posting Date
Also, only one (1) receipt per batch is now enforced. Previously, technically up to five (5) entries per batch could occur, dependent on timing of postings.
