The Memorial Order Installations function allows staff to identify memorial orders received not yet installed and to process the installation, which sets the memorial order status to complete and updates the Memorial Installed date on the cemetery location. This process offers to set the Sales & Booking status to completed, which staff might not require if the sales order contained more than one memorial order, e.g. a base, plaque and separate photo order.
Buttons to print completion letters for families are also provided from the installations screen.
Installations Process
Staff can process memorial order installations by selecting the Plaque Installations button on the byondpro Home screen. This presents a list of memorial orders for which a receipt has been recorded, but where the installation date is blank.
The screen presents a list of memorial orders with filters to narrow selections by site, sales & booking ID and memorial type.
The receipt is processed by selecting the Memorial Type hyperlink, entering the date of installation and saving.
Cremated Remains
If cremated remains were placed at the cemetery location as part of the installation process, staff must separately process a CR Task of type Memorial Installation to ensure that the deceased record shows the correct placement of the ashes.
Memorial Only
If the Memorial Only checkbox was selected on the Memorial Order, byondpro will create an interment record linked to the cemetery location indicated on the Sales & Booking record. The interment status is set to memorial only to reflect that there are no bodily remains at the memorial site.
