From a new sale and booking (with type sales order), create a new Sales Order.
When choosing terms, note that immediate payment / COD is not configured to work with Contracts, the additional tick box for contracts becomes available when extended terms are chosen.

Select the extended terms required, tick Create a Contract. The Purchase Type field also displays for selection.
Once Create a Contract is ticked, the ‘Contract Header’ information appears.
Interesting to note, payment plans that have for example 25 instalments, one repayment will be due today, then 24 monthly instalments due.
Purchase as (Type)
Choose the appropriate Purchase as (type) from the drop-down menu item.
· An individual
· Tenants by the entirety – entire ownership passes to the other partner at the time of death
· Joint tenants - If the purchase is with someone else, partner, spouse etc., then the joint holders define what happens to the grave upon the rights holders passing.
· Tenants in common – the rights holder who passes, their half share passes down their line of inheritance.
