Prices
When navigating to an item record, you might have noticed that there appear to be several items with the same code. However, this is not actually the case.
An item can be used across different sites within an organisation, and pricing can be separately configured for each site. Additionally, byondpro can hold historical prices of these items in the database.
When reviewing an item, the prices /s are added and can be seen on the Prices tab of the Item record.
In our example below, this item was added in 2017, and could only be sold at Highview Remembrance Park for $250 and Wattle Park for $300.
The item currently, as at August 2021, can be sold at South East Regional Cemeteries for $500, that is to say this pricing is applicable at all sites of the cemetery trust, except for Highview Remembrance Park which currently has pricing of $260.
Things to consider when talking to customers about setting up price lists.
When adding a price, the Territory field can be used to note if an item is not available at other sites.
Simply select the site the item is available at in the Territory field, complete the remaining fields and press Save.
As only one price has been listed for one site, the item will only be available through a Sales Order linked to that site.
To have different prices for multiple sites, you will need to complete the process again for each site and applicable price.
