Memorial Type
Purpose
Memorial Types are the master record used in Memorial Orders that identify plaques, headstones, keepsakes, urns and other memorial items.
Memorial types can be associated with any or all of the cemeteries configured in byondpro and determine the physical characteristics that apply, including size, product category and required fittings.
Plaque & Attachment Lines
The number of inscription lines and characters are configured on the memorial item to assist when preparing plaque and headstone orders. It's possible to control the number of characters allowed on a line according to the deceased's full name, first name, last name, date of birth and date of death.
The attachments option confirms if a plaque style includes a base plaque with an attachment and if so, how many inscription lines are permitted above and below the attachment plaque.
Adding new Records
Memorial Types are created using the New menu function and are visible from the search menus of byondpro.
