New Feature / Enhancement
Details
A Locations Group is a collection of cemetery locations sold under a single sales agreement.

The Primary Group location is the saleable entity and is not one of the active (burial) locations.  It shows the attributes pertaining to the group of locations.

The individual location records are retained and used for grave management and interments; they cannot be purchased separately.

The following new fields have been added to the Batch Location Update feature:

  •  Reasons Unusable
  •  Monument Safety Rating
  •  Date (multi-purpose)
  •  Audit required
  •  Exhumed Grave
  •  Heritage Status
  •  Tenure Grace Period
  •  Tenure in Years
  •  Date Issued

In conjunction with Advanced Revenue Recognition this feature sets the sales status of a location to payment plan instead of sold when invoiced.  It means that stock on hand reporting counts this as inventory.

When the invoice is paid in full, the sales status is changed from payment plan to sold and updates the sales date to the date of last receipt.

Where Advanced Revenue Recognition is not in use the payment plan sales status does not apply. At time of creating the invoice the location status changes to sold.

New options have been added to the byondpro Area records that give you control over records and the public-facing naming conventions, as seen on your website.

When active, these changes apply to all locations within the Area.

The changes are active for both the API and pre-configured website options.

Replace Location Name
The individual Location name will be replaced with the ‘Replace Location Name’ information entered.

Suppress from Deceased Search
Location information will be suppressed or hidden from the website deceased search, i.e., the deceased record shows without location information.

Hide from Deceased Search
The entire deceased record will be hidden from the website search.

This alternative document storage option on Location records lets you link images and electronic files stored within our cloud, or on any accessible drive.

The new release includes 3 options:

Insert URL, this option allows you to link to any external web URL. Ideal to link to files on your local network.

Link to Existing Document, this option lets you link to a document that is already loaded to the SaaS storage facility. That is, when you click on browse you can search existing documents that have been linked to different location records.

Ideal for managing photos and documents for family lots and crypts.

Upload Document lets you load new images/documents to our cloud storage.

Where the same document (image or PDF file) is shared between location records, this function recognizes existing document files with the same name and over-writes them in the original Location’s sub-folder. This means you can manage one single version of the document from any of its linked locations.
