Linking Cases & Solutions
Purpose
To assist with risk mitigation strategies, effectiveness reviews and trend analysis, every Case entered into byondpro can be linked to a corresponding Solutions entry, encompassing risks, controls and legislation.
Linked cases are visible on the cases screen for each solutions entry.
New links between cases and solutions can be created on the Cases screen of any risk (control or legislation) entry, using the Link Case button. The Delete Selected Link button breaks an existing link between a case and risk entry; it does not delete either the case or risk entry.
Using the Cases & Solutions button on the byondpro home screen, presents the user with a list of every case (works request, client feedback and incident) that has yet to be associated with a solution entry. This screen includes case numbers, categories and descriptions together with a hyperlink to open the case record and review in more detail.
