Examples of Cremation Booking Appointments

The way our customers use byondpro in relation to bookings may differ from customer to customer.

We have provided a few examples of how you might choose to use byondpro to make appointments for your cremation bookings.

Direct / No Service Cremations

Some cemeteries will do what is known as direct cremations or no service cremations, for when the act of cremation is the only service being provided.

In those cases, the timeline of the booking might only require the cremation appointment, which usually reflects the expected time of receipt of the deceased and not the actual time of cremation.

No Cremation Appointment Booked

Other customers may only add a chapel appointment (if applicable) with no cremation appointment showing.

If the customer's internal processes are organised in a manner that the cremation team will know a cremation will occur as part of a cremation booking, they might not find it necessary to book in the actual appointment.

All Appointments

Booked

Some customers will choose to make appointments for the chapel and the cremation to track their appointments for the day and assist with carrying out procedures.
