Configuration
Settings are configured by our Services Consulting team under Profile Menu > Administration > Cemetery System Setup > Custom Configuration
Custom Configuration houses a list of configuration codes that can be used to change functions in byondpro.
There are two configuration elements outlined below.
YahrzeitFunction
This setting activates the Yahrzeit functions and Hebrew date fields on Person Records.
As this is an optional field, the user will be able to leave this field as blank/empty.
To update, complete a search for the YahrzeitFunction from Custom Configuration.
Options available are Y or N.
If YahrzeitFunction = Y;
Following elements will be displayed in "New Person Screen" and "Person Summary Screen":
1. Before/After Sunset
2. Hebrew Date of Death
3. Date of Death (in Hebrew)
4. Yahrzeit Anniversary
5. Convert Dates
Additional related fields available that can be configured on the person record include:

Mother’s Name

Mother’s Name Transliteration

Father’s Name

Father’s Name Transliteration

Holocaust Survivor
If YahrzeitFunction is N, these field elements on the person record will not be visible.
YahrzeitFunctionURL
Where YahrzeitFunction as shown above is configured to Y, the YarhzeitFunctionURL description & value need to be added.
To update, complete a search for YahrzeitFunctionURL from Custom Configuration.

Details: (optional field, the user will be able to leave this field as blank / empty).
The website https://www.hebcal.com/ provides the Date Converter, which demonstrate how to convert a Gregorian date to a Hebrew date, or the reverse.
This website includes a link for Developer APIs: https://www.hebcal.com/home/developer-apis which contains a function call to determine the Yahrzeit date.
