If a quote entered into byondpro is no longer required, and will therefore not proceed to an invoiced sale, the quote status can be changed to cancelled.
Cemetery Locations
When a quote is cancelled, any cemetery locations (right of interment items) entered on the quote are released for sale. The sales status of the location record is changed from quoted back to available for sale.
Sales & Booking Cancellation
If the quote is attached to a Sales & Booking record that can be cancelled in full, changing the status field on the summary screen to cancelled, will also change the status of any open quotes to cancelled. Staff are required to enter a reason for the sales cancellation.
This process will also set any open Memorial Orders to status cancelled.
Quote Cancellation
If a quote is to be cancelled without affecting the Sales & Booking record, open the sales order screen and use the Change Quote Status button.
